Redmi Pad Pro 5G: Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad Pro 5G in India today. The tablet ships with a big 12.1-inch screen and runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. Alongside the 5G offering, the company also introduced the Redmi Pad SE 4G tablet and Xiaomi 14 CIVI Limited Edition Panda design smartphone. Coming to the Redmi Pad Pro, the tab will compete in the mid-range price category with its competitive features.

Redmi Pad Pro Specifications

Redmi Pad Pro boasts a 12.1-inch 2.5K 12-bit IPS LCD 120Hz screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 600nits peak brightness. For multimedia consumption, it offers Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos with quad speakers. Under the hood, it runs on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and boots on Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14.

HyperOS on the Redmi Pad Pro offers features like Home Screen+, Network Sync, Screen Mirroring Shared, Clipboard, Handwriting Recognition and Cross-device Notes app photo with the help of select Xiaomi phones. The tablet ships with an 8MP front and 8MP selfie shooter. It has a 10,000mAh battery with 33W charging. As for connectivity, it sports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a headphone jack, expandable storage up to 1.5TB and a USB Type-C port.

Redmi Pad Pro Price In India

Redmi Pad Pro debuted in Wi-Fi and 5G trims. The Wi-Fi variant will be available for Rs 21,999 (6GB + 128GB). The 5G trims of the device - 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB will cost Rs 24,999 and Rs 26,999. Buyers can grab a Rs 2,000 discount via select ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank cards.

The first sale of the device will begin on August 2 on Flipkart, Amazon and Xiaomi's official channels. While the 5G trim comes in Graphite Grey and Quick Silver, the non-5G Wi-Fi trim comes in Mist Blue and Graphite Grey colours. The tablet maker also introduced the Redmi Smart Pen (Rs 3,999), Redmi Pad Pro Keyboard (Rs 3,999) and a cover (Rs 1,499) for the device.
