iQOO and Nothing are both gearing up for major smartphone launches in March and from the leaks we’ve seen so far, it looks like we’re in for some exciting mid-range devices best for people who aren’t looking towards shedding too much but still want to take away some good features with it. Let’s take a look at what’s expected from the iQOO Neo 10R and the Nothing Phone 3a.

iQOO Neo 10R: The Lowdown

First up, the iQOO Neo 10R. The leaks suggest it’s going to be a pretty solid phone, especially if you’re into big screens. Expect a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate — ideal for those who want a smooth, responsive experience. As for performance, it looks like we’ll get 8GB or 12GB of RAM, with 256GB or 512GB of storage options, so it’ll definitely hold its own in terms of power and storage.

The camera setup on the Neo 10R seems promising. A 50MP Sony sensor is expected for the main camera, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. And for selfies, there’s likely to be a 16MP shooter.

The battery is one of the standout features. It’s rumored to be a huge 6,400mAh, so you’ll be able to get through a full day (or more) without worrying about charging. Plus, the 80W fast charging should make topping up pretty quick.

iQOO’s confirmed that the Neo 10R will be priced under ₹30,000, which makes it a pretty competitive offering. And with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, it’s got the power to back it up.

Nothing Phone 3a: What’s In Store

Over on the other side, we’ve got the Nothing Phone 3a. This one’s a little different, thanks to Nothing’s signature design and user interface. The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, which should provide a solid performance boost compared to its predecessors. It might not be as powerful as the iQOO, but it should still get the job done for everyday tasks and gaming.

When it comes to the display, it’s likely going to feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen. The in-display fingerprint sensor is also making a return, which adds that premium feel to the phone.

For the camera, leaks suggest the Phone 3a will come with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens (2x zoom), and an 8MP ultra-wide. The front camera could stick with the same 32MP sensor from the previous model, so selfies should still look great.

As for price, it’s expected to be around ₹25,000, keeping it in the affordable mid-range market, but there may be a more expensive Pro model, which could be priced closer to ₹30,000.

iQOO Neo 10R vs. Nothing Phone 3a: Which One Wins?

So, iQOO or Nothing? Which one’s the better choice? The iQOO Neo 10R has the advantage when it comes to pure performance. With a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, a bigger battery, and faster charging, it’s definitely more of a powerhouse. But it’s a bit more standard in design, if you care about that sort of thing.

The Nothing Phone 3a, on the other hand, is more about style and clean software. If you like the unique design and minimalistic interface, this could be the one for you. The camera setup is also intriguing, especially with the telephoto lens, which is a nice touch for this price range.

Ultimately, it comes down to what you value more. If you want a phone that’s built for performance, fast charging, and a bigger battery, the iQOO Neo 10R might be the way to go. But if you’re after a more stylish phone with good camera features and a smoother software experience, the Nothing Phone 3a is definitely worth considering.

Either way, both phones look like strong contenders in the mid-range space, and it’s definitely going to be an exciting March.
