Realme P1 Pro 5G vs Realme 12 Pro 5G: Chinese smartphone maker Realme launched the Realme P1 Pro in India on April 15. The smartphone sits below the Realme 12 Pro in terms of price and can spark confusion among buyers in India. So, which smartphone should you pick if you are planning a purchase in the sub-Rs 25,000 price bracket?

Display: Both phones offer a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 950nits peak brightness.

Processor: Both the handsets run on a 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 CPU and Adreno 710 GPU.

Software: Realme P1 Pro and Realme 12 Pro run on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.

Battery: Both phones ship with a 5,000mAh battery. However, the P1 Pro offers 45W SUPERVOOC charging compared to the 67W on the Realme 12 Pro.

Camera: The P1 Pro gets a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main and 8MP ultrawide rear and a 16MP selfie lens. On the flip side, the Realme 12 Pro gets a 50MP Sony IMX882 OIS + 8MP ultrawide and 32MP telephoto portrait sensor on the rear and a 16MP selfie camera.

Extras: Both phones offer Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and a USB Type-C port for charging. The P1 Pro comes with an IP65 rating and Air Gestures. Moreover, the product listing of the Realme 12 Pro also claims the phone comes with an IP65 rating. The handsets come with an in-screen fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Realme P1 Pro Price vs Realme 12 Pro Price

Realme P1 Pro 5G will be available at a starting price of Rs 21,999 (8GB + 128GB). The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs 22,999. It comes in Phoenix Red and Parrot Blue shades. Buyers can avail a Rs 2,000 off via bank offers on the device. The Red-Limited Sale of the handset will go live on April 22.

On the other hand, the Realme 12 Pro is available for Rs 24,999 (8GB + 128GB). At the time of filing, you can bring the price down by Rs 2,000 via coupon discounts. Both 256GB trims (8GB and 12GB RAM) cost Rs 26,999 on Flipkart. You can claim Rs 2,000 off via bank offers on these variants. It comes in Submarine Blue and Navigator Beige colours.
