Popular social media forum Reddit is adding an option to let users translate posts in different languages. This option will be available across Android, iOS and web (when logged out). Among the languages available are 'English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, and Swedish', according to a Changelog published by Reddit.
Users can tap/click the "translate" button at the top to translate the post in the preferred language, which has been configured from the settings. The company further added it is also experimenting with translations for comments.

"We've also started experimenting with translations to the comments on iOS and Android, so a few of you may notice this experiment too. Soon, your entire conversation experience on Reddit can be multilingual," the changelog added.
Also, in an attempt to clean up subdomains, new.reddit.com would now redirect a logged-out Redditor to a new and improved "logged-out desktop experience." For other logged-in accounts, nothing will change. Plus, coins will be operational on the platform till September 12, 2023. It is advised that users use them in the upcoming week. "Award-giving on old Reddit and the mobile desktop experience has already been deprecated." r/reddit added.
Adding to the note, the company also introduced a new Redesigned Help Center. Once visiting the main homepage, a user sees two options: Moderator Help Center and Redditor Help Center. The first incorporates information about how to moderate communities on Reddit. The second focuses on support and information about managing a Reddit account.
"We've combined the Moderator Help Center with the existing Help Center to create a central hub for all of your support resources," it added. The Mod Help Center links will redirect to their new counterparts, and the articles "live in the same categories and sections". Lastly, the Contact Us page also underwent adjustments to "better consolidate" the additional contact options.
