REDMI, a popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer has officially confirmed the launch of its Redmi Note 12 Turbo in China. The company has announced the launch on March 28 and would be the first snapdragon to sport the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset. Additionally, the report also suggests that it could make India debut with a rebranded version.

The company has released a teaser that reveals the design of the future smartphone as well as certain features. It also states that the smartphone would be revealed in China on March 28 at 7 p.m. (local time).

The smartphone has already been the subject of numerous leaks, and it was previously believed that the smartphone would include a camera frame similar to the newly launched Redmi 12 series. Now the new poster tells about the optics, design, and a lot more.

Further, the rumours suggest that the smartphone could get a 6.67-inch flat OLED screen with a refresh rate panel of 120 Hz and a full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone could get a recently launched Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 12 GB RAM. The smartphone is expected to run on the MIUI 14 based on the latest Android 13 and will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

According to the reports, on the right side, there will be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner while the top side will get a microphone, an IR blaster, a speaker grille, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone also gets a Type-C port along with a speaker grille and a SIM slot.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone could get a 50 MP primary shooter along with an 8 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone could get a 16 MP front camera with the punch-hole cut-out design.
