Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G along with Redmi Note 13 5G and the top-end Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, is all set to make its India debut on January 4. The smartphone will be positioned in mid-range and will be a successor to the Redmi Note 12 series. Since the device has already made its debut in China, we can expect the same specifications in the Indian variant with a revised price. Here are a few points to watch out for.
Redmi Note 13 Series: 5 Things To Watch Out:
1. All three trims of the Redmi Note 13 5G series will come up with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel and may get a 120 Hz refresh rate. However, the top-end variants will get an AMOLED display, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will get IP68 water resistance.

2. Under the hood, the base Redmi Note 13 will get MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset while the Redmi Note 13 Pro will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and the top-end Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus may get a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC.
3. The Redmi Note 13 5G will be getting a new dual rear camera setup. The mid-variant Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will get triple camera setups. The vanilla trim will get a 100 MP primary shooter with a 2 MP macro lens, while the Pro and Pro Plus variants will get a 200 MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation, an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2 MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, all three trims will get a 16 MP front camera.
4. The Redmi Note 13 series will get some battery upgrades as well. The vanilla trim and the Redmi Note 13 Pro will be backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery while the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will be backed by a 5,100 mAh battery. In terms of fast charging, the Redmi Note 13 will get 33W, the Redmi Note 13 Pro will get 67W and the Note 13 Pro Plus will get a 120W option.
5. Interestingly, all three devices will run on MIUI 14-based Android 13 devices and get Android 14 later.
