Redmi Note 15 SE 5G Launched: The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G has officially launched in India as a special edition version of the Redmi Note 15 5G, bringing a familiar setup with a few tweaks. The device will be available for purchase via Flipkart as well as Xiaomi’s official online store and comes in multiple configurations and colour options.

Pricing starts at Rs. 19,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Those looking for more memory can opt for the 8GB + 128GB model priced at Rs. 21,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB version comes in at Rs. 23,999. There’s also a Rs. 2,000 bank discount available on select cards, which brings the effective price down a bit.

Sales are set to begin from April 7. Buyers will be able to choose between Carbon Black, Crimson Reserve (Red), and Frosted White finishes, giving the phone a mix of subtle and slightly more premium-looking options.

Redmi Note 15SE 5G Specs And Features

The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G runs on HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, and supports dual SIM functionality. Up front, it features a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling. It also gets pretty bright, going up to 3,200 nits, and supports a wide DCI-P3 colour gamut. Xiaomi has added TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free viewing, and circadian-friendly usage. On top of that, the phone is rated IP65 and IP66 for dust and water resistance.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, built on a 4nm process and clocked up to 2.4GHz. It’s paired with an Adreno GPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and as much as 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There’s also support for expandable storage up to 1TB via a microSD card. For security, you get an in-display fingerprint scanner along with AI-based face unlock.

On the camera side, the phone sticks to a dual rear setup. The main sensor is a 50-megapixel shooter with an f/1.8 aperture and a Light Hunter 400 sensor, accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 20-megapixel front camera. The device can record videos at up to 4K at 30fps.

Backing everything is a 5,800mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the phone covers all the basics, including 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, and multiple navigation systems like GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and Galileo. It measures 164 x 75.42 x 7.35mm and weighs around 178 grams, so it should feel fairly slim and manageable in hand.
