Samsung Care+ Extended Warranty: What’s New

Samsung Care+ is now available for nearly all major home appliances, offering one to four years of additional coverage after the standard manufacturer warranty period ends.

According to Samsung, plans will start at just ₹2 per day, making them accessible to a wide range of users. Customers can select coverage based on their product type, usage, and duration of ownership.

The plans include benefits such as:

- Extended protection beyond standard warranty

- Access to 13,000+ certified Samsung engineers

- Genuine Samsung spare parts and 2,500+ service centres nationwide

- Multi-lingual support across nine Indian languages

- App-based service tracking and reminders for scheduled maintenance

New Coverage Additions: Software and Screen Malfunction Support

A notable feature of this expansion is the inclusion of coverage for software-related issues and screen malfunctions—a first in the Indian appliance industry, according to Samsung.

While physical damage to screens is not included, users will be covered for malfunctions or performance failures that occur due to technical faults. This level of coverage goes beyond traditional appliance warranties, which typically only address hardware defects.

Samsung says these plans will provide a “worry-free ownership experience” for customers, ensuring their appliances remain in optimal condition with prompt and professional service.

Samsung’s Service Infrastructure

The Care+ expansion is backed by one of the largest service networks in India. Samsung India has:

- Over 13,000 certified service engineers

- More than 2,500 authorised service centres across the country

- Multi-lingual customer support available in nine regional languages

Users will be able to check their coverage eligibility, customise product registration and access benefits such as monthly care advice and service appointment recommendations via Samsung’s official website or the Samsung Members app.

About Samsung Care+

Over time, it has evolved into a comprehensive extended warranty and accidental damage protection service, covering both mobile devices and consumer electronics.

One of Samsung’s most-requested services, Care+ is now going to be launched across the larger portfolio of home appliances — with the latest expansion offering premium after-sales protection to serve as a one-stop service for almost all product categories within the brand in India.

Final Thoughts

The growth of Samsung Care+ is a major part of the company’s commitment to build greater trust and loyalty with its customers over time. With competitive pricing, more comprehensive coverage and a network of certified technicians across the country, Samsung wants to make owning its appliances easier and de-risk that ownership.

By introducing software and screen malfunction coverage, Samsung is setting a new standard in India’s home appliance warranty segment — blending traditional service assurance with next-generation product support.
