SAMSUNG has launched the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G in India. The mobile is available for under Rs 15,000 at the time of launch. Rumours of a possible launch this week turned out correct as the South Korean giant announced its debut today. Samsung Galaxy A14 4G sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ 60Hz LCD display. The handset weighs 201g. Under the hood, it has an octa-core Exynos 850 chip with a clock speed of 2GHz. Speaking of memory, the phone sports 4GB RAM with up to 128GB storage. A buyer can expand the storage up to 1TB via the SD card.
The phone runs on One UI core 5.1 based on Android 13, according to The Indian Express. Samsung has promised two OS upgrades and four years of security updates on the device.
It houses a 5000mAh battery inside the back. Moving to optics, the A14 4G houses a 50MP primary lens with a 5MP ultra-wide and 2MP tertiary camera. Flip over, and the phone has a 13MP selfie shooter inside the notch. As for connectivity, the handset comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm stereo jack and a Type-C port. Speaking of sensors, it comes with Geomagnetic, Light, Proximity, Fingerprint sensor and Accelerometer.
