South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A54 5G smartphone in a new white shade in India. The company announced the update via its X (formerly known as Twitter) handle. For the unversed, the phone maker introduced the device in March this year in three colour shades: Lime, Violet and Graphite.

The handset is listed on the official website with 256GB storage and 8GB RAM. This could mean the vanilla model with 128GB memory may not be available in the new colour. Besides the new shade, the specifications of the device remain the same.

This is not the first instance when the company announced a new colour for an existing product. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra arrived in new colours offline in June. Galaxy S23 debuted in a new Lime colour after launch.

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G Specifications

The smartphone has a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED 120Hz panel with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. For performance, the phone sports an octa-core Exynos 1380 chip. The device runs on One UI 5.1 based on Android 13.

The A54 gets a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W charging. Coming to the optics, the device has a 50MP OIS, 12MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro sensor on the back. Inside the punchhole, a 32MP selfie shooter sits on the front.

The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs 38,999 on Samsung's official website. According to the X post, a user can get the phone for as low as Rs 36,999 after availing offers.
