Galaxy Unpacked 2024: At the launch event of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, the South Korean smartphone maker showcased a host of AI features (under its 'Galaxy AI' banner) that will improve the software experience on these phones. It seems some of these features may also reach older Galaxy offerings as Samsung confirmed a list of devices that will get the update to Android Authority. The list of phones includes some models of the Galaxy S23 series and the latest lineup of foldable devices.

According to a statement given by the company to the news outlet, the Galaxy AI features will arrive on the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S23 FE. As for the foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 will also get the update before June 2024. Readers can also count the latest flagship Galaxy Tab S9 series in the list of eligible devices.

However, the report noted that Samsung has not confirmed the list of features that may be available on these phones. Hence, there might be limitations of some AI features that require hardware-level integration to meet the standards. Moreover, OneUI 6.1 is expected to be available on all Samsung phones and tablets running on OneUI 6 or are eligible for the same. This implies the entry-level M series, F series and A series could also get some AI features.

However, Samsung could cut down on some of them to keep some Galaxy AI features limited to its premium offerings. On a related note, the features in the list include Live Translate for calls, Interpreter for two-way translation, Chat Assist, AI enhancements in Android Auto and more.
