Samsung Galaxy F16 5G Launched in India: Samsung has dropped yet another smartphone for its fans and this one comes at a budget-friendly price, which is the Samsung F16 5G, successor to the Galaxy F15 5G which made its debut in March 2024. Let's take a look at what Samsung has got for us in store this time.

Features and Specs

This new smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch-full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display which supports 90Hz refresh rate. The powerhouse under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset coupled with up to 8GB RAM. The internal storage of the device is 128 GB while you can also add up to 1.5 TB of external storage by using a microSD card.

It will have the Android 15-based One UI 7 and will get six OS upgrades and six years of security updates as well.

For taking pictures the device comes with a 50-MP primary sensor, a 5-MP ultrawide and a 2-MP macro lens on the rear. For selfies and video calls, you get a 13-MP shooter at the front.

The Samsung Galaxy F16 5G comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W wired fast charging. For connectivity, it offers 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, and a USB Type-C port. The device measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.9mm and weighs 191g.

Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy F16 FG starting price is Rs 11,499 inclusive of all offers. A promotional banner on Flipkart confirms that the device will go on sale in the country from 12 PM IST on March 13. It will be available for purchase on the e-commerce platform in Bling Black, Glam Green, and Vibing Blue color options.
