DAYS after adding the Bing AI capabilities to Swiftkey, Microsoft has now announced that it would be rolling out the latest Bing AI feature from Microsoft SwiftKey for the Samsung Galaxy smartphone users.

According to reports, the Bing AI update for iOS and Android only recently became available for Samsung's One UI's built-in SwiftKey keyboard. Samsung Keyboard is an alternative to SwiftKey that users of Galaxy devices can choose to use instead of Bing AI.

Bing AI, however, is virtually pre-installed on practically all Galaxy devices and cannot be removed because SwiftKey is incorporated into One UI, the report further suggested. "We are introducing new Bing AI features to Samsung users. In the coming days, look for the new update (Android v9.10.11.10)," Microsoft SwiftKey tweeted.

Microsoft said last month that the SwiftKey app, a third-party keyboard, will now include AI-powered Bing capabilities. This would enable users to communicate with the AI chatbot directly from their mobile keyboard and conduct searches without having to transfer between apps.

"Bing integrates in three ways: search, chat, and tone. The update is now available. When the update is complete, the Bing icon will appear above the keyboard. From there, you can choose whether to use Chat, Tone, or Search," Microsoft explained in a blog post.

Additionally, Galaxy users would be able to avoid the Bing AI sliding into their swiping keyboard by using the Samsung Keyboard instead. Users can do so by heading to Settings and then Language and Input and then On-Screen Keyboard.

However, the Galaxy may not get rid of Bing AI as the South Korean giant is planning to switch from Google to make Microsoft Bing its default search browser.
