Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Launch: South Korean giant Samsung is gearing up to announce the upcoming Galaxy S24 series in India and across the globe. The lineup may include Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The company will likely stress a range of "Galaxy AI" features at the event that will go live on January 17, 11:30 PM.
While the company may announce a range of other updates at the event, the S24 models will be the top highlight. The company may showcase AI features similar to Google's Magic Editor, real-time translation, generative AI wallpapers, formatting for Samsung Notes and more enhancements. Samsung Galaxy S24, S24 Plus Expected Price, Specifications
Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus could offer a 6.2-inch FHD+ and 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screens with 120Hz refresh rate. In India, the models may debut with the Exynos 2400 CPU and up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The S24 and S24 Plus may have a 4,000mAh (25W charging) and 4,900mAh battery (45W wired and 15W wired charging). The phones will likely run on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14.
Moving to optics, the handsets could offer 50MP + 12MP UW and a 10MP 3x telephoto sensor. As for the optics, the phones may have a 12MP selfie lens. According to reports, the Galaxy S24 could start from 899 Euros (roughly Rs 82,000), and the S24 Plus may be priced in the sub-Rs 1.05 lakh.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Price, Specifications (Expectations)
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in the lineup may have a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the handset may run on a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy. It may have a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. It could run on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14.
Coming to the cameras, the handset may sport a 200MP primary OIS, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP and 50MP telephoto lenses and a 12MP selfie lens. As for extras, it could have a titanium frame and S Pen support. The handset could have a starting price of Rs 1,34,999.
