Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is rumoured to be the thinnest smartphone from the company. Samsung is working on it in order to compete with Apple’s iPhone 17 Air model. S25 Edge was initially teased at the Galaxy Unpacked event of 2025 in January and was also showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona. 

A new leak has been surfaced online, that hints its performance. The Geekbench score is also revealed of the smartphone, along with a few more details. 

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge – Display, Battery, Camera, and Geekbench Score

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was codenamed “Sun” with the model number SM-S937N on the Geekbench that hinted that the device was the South Korean variant on which they tested. As per reports, it will be the thinnest phone by the company, with just 5.84 mm thickness and 162 grams of weight.

As per leaks from IceUniverse, a user on X, formerly Twitter – Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a 6.6-inched 2K display which will make it comparable to Samsung S25 Plus. He also mentioned that it will be combined with 3,900mAh battery, that makes it a bad combo.

On the camera front, leaks suggest that it is from the S25 Ultra as it  features 200-megapixel primary camera setup, but it does miss out on a telephoto lens, maybe due to its thin design.

As it appeared on Geekbench, it scored 2969 in the single-core test and 9486 in the multi-core test using the same processor as Galaxy S25 Ultra – Snapdragon 8 Elite with 12GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge – Colour Variants, Storage, Launch Date, and Price

According to reports, Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be available in 3 colour variants – Titanium Icyblue, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Black. It is possible that it will be available in 2 storage variants – 256GB and 512GB at the price of $1000 for the base variant and $1200 upper one. The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event on April 16, 2025. It is likely to debut alongside the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7.
