Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Launched: Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S26 series, introducing the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra as its third-generation AI-powered smartphones. The latest S26-series majorly focuses on delivering the effortless Galaxy AI experiences, flagship-level performance, and better camera capabilities. 

Samsung has come up with some advanced on-device intelligence that will be handling complex tasks in the background. The Galaxy S26 series is designed to integrate AI deeply into everyday usage, enhancing productivity, creativity, and personalisation without adding complexity for users. So without any further ado, let's first discuss the elephant in the room, Privacy display.

Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces world’s first Privacy Display

The Galaxy S26 Ultra stands out as Samsung’s slimmest Ultra smartphone yet, having only 7.9mm thickness. It also comes with the world’s first built-in Privacy Display for mobile phones, making privacy tempered glass old school. It is a great feature for public and shared environments such as metros, cafes, and offices, or any public and crowded place. This feature combines hardware and software to protect on-screen content from side-angle viewing while maintaining a clear front-facing display.

Samsung Galaxy S26-Series

The Galaxy S26 Ultra features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, giving it worthy performance. Samsung also introduced Super Fast Charging 3.0 that can charge your device to 75% within just 30 minutes.

Now talking about the camera, Samsung has come up with some camera improvement this year with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, mainly focusing on low-light performance and video stability.

Key camera improvements include:

- Wider apertures for improved low-light photography

- Enhanced Nightography Video for clearer footage in dim environments

- Upgraded Super Steady technology for more stable video capture

- Improved AI ISP for the selfie camera, delivering natural skin tones and finer details

Notably, the Galaxy S26 Ultra also comes with the Advanced Professional Video (APV) standard, enabling efficient compression of high-quality video without compromising video quality.

The Galaxy S26 series introduces a Agentic AI experiences with features like Now Nudge, offering timely and relevant suggestions without disrupting user flow. The new Bixby now serves as a conversational device agent that will help users to navigate settings and control features using natural language rather than fixed commands or phrases.

Talking about the security on the Samsung Galaxy S26-series, they bring advanced security features like Private Album and Knox Matrix protection as well as their commitment to 7 OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates, assuring the long-term software promise.

Galaxy Buds 4 series launched alongside S26 lineup

Additionally, Samsung also unveiled their Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro wireless earbuds, featuring Hi-Fi audio quality with ergonomic designs for optimal use. The latter boasts improved Active Noise Cancellation, Adaptive EQ support for the 20Hz-40kHz frequency range, Super Clear Call integration and AI agent integration; available in White or Black matte finishes.

The Galaxy S26 series follows a unified design language across all models. Shared colour options include Cobalt Violet, White, Black, and Sky Blue.
