Samsung's Galaxy S26 series may still be months from release, but leaks have provided us with a clear glimpse at their upcoming flagships. Over the last week or so, dummy units and CAD renders of its lineup–which includes Pro, Ultra and Edge variants have surfaced online, offering us insight into potential design changes.

Galaxy S26 Edge: The Boldest Redesign

Among the three, the Galaxy S26 Edge is reportedly seeing the most dramatic redesign. Earlier renders showcased a large rectangular camera island, a departure from Samsung’s recent minimalist rear camera design. If accurate, this would mark one of the most visible design shifts in the company’s flagship series in years.

Galaxy S26 Pro: Subtle but Noticeable Tweaks

The Galaxy S26 Pro, revealed in new renders by Smartprix in collaboration with tipster Yogesh Brar, gets a raised vertical pill-shaped camera module. Unlike the S25 series, which featured a module-less look, this design houses the rear cameras together while keeping the metallic lens rings intact.

Apart from the rear module, other design elements stay familiar:

  • Flat frames with rounded edges
  • Power and volume buttons on the right side
  • A clean, streamlined back panel

Galaxy S26 Ultra: Rounded Edges and Hybrid Camera Design

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is also set for refinement, addressing two major points from its predecessor:

  • Hybrid camera module – Instead of placing all four cameras inside one large module, the Ultra now reportedly splits them: three cameras in a raised module and the fourth mounted directly on the back panel. Interestingly, the flash also sits outside the camera bump.
  • Softer edges – One of the most common complaints about the Galaxy S25 Ultra was its sharp, boxy edges. The S26 Ultra appears to adopt rounded edges, making it more ergonomic and comfortable to hold without losing its premium, squared-off identity.

What It Means for Samsung’s 2026 Flagships

According to leaks, the Galaxy S26 series could strike a balance between evolution and redesign. While its flagship Edge model might take bold steps with its rectangular island design, Pro and Ultra models might opt for minor updates to camera housing or ergonomics rather than large scale changes.

As with any early leak, these renders should be taken with extreme caution until Samsung officially unveils their devices. As part of their annual refresh cycle, we expect the Galaxy S26 lineup to make its debut early 2026.
