Samsung, a well-known South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer, has officially confirmed the dates for its highly anticipated Unpacked 2023 event, at which it will introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, and may potentially reveal the Galaxy Ring for consumers in the near future. According to a report, the company filed a patent for a smart ring in 2015, and the new app code suggests that it may become a reality soon.

Furthermore, the report claims that the business has obtained a trademark for the Galaxy Ring, which is not a big issue given that the company has a long history of releasing products such as the Galaxy iteration, whether it is a phone, tablet, or laptop.

According to reports, the device's patent emphasises certain product use cases, including controlling linked smart home gadgets, lights, and other activities with a single wrist movement. The patent, however, is new, and no official information regarding the device or the patent has been released.

The Galaxy Ring is already in testing, according to a Reddit user, who discovered it in the Samsung Health Beta application. Because it is part of the Health platform, the business is expected to improve the capabilities of the speculated Galaxy Ring and enable health tracking on smartphones. It is also believed that the Ring will become a breakthrough product in the market, making it much easier to track health.
