Samsung has finally begun rolling out their stable One UI 8 update based on Android 16 for the Galaxy S25 series in South Korea, with global roll-out scheduled over the coming weeks; specific dates for specific markets like US, UK and India still yet to be confirmed.

How to Download One UI 8 on Samsung Galaxy S25?

Users will get a notification once the update reaches their device. For manual installation:

1. Go to Settings

2. Select Software update

3. Tap Download and install

Wider Rollout and Device Coverage

So far, the stable One UI 8 was restricted to Samsung’s latest foldables – Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Samsung has expanded the update besides the S25 with Galaxy S25 FE and some mid-range models.
