Samsung Home AI: At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, Samsung introduced a new suite of artificial intelligence (AI) features for smart home appliances, marking a key part of its “AI for All” vision. This initiative aims to make AI a seamless part of everyday life, providing an “Everyday, Everywhere” experience. The new Home AI feature focuses on creating a hyper-personalized experience for users within the same household.
Personalized Smart Home Experience for All Users
Samsung’s Home AI was introduced by Jong-Hee (JH) Han, Vice Chairman, CEO, and Head of the Device Experience (DX) Division, He has affirmed that this new technology will provide a “truly personalized” experience across all intelligent and connected devices. The feature is designed to cater to the diverse needs of each person in the same home by learning from individual habits and routines and adapting the smart home experience accordingly.
Seamless Integration with Samsung’s Ecosystem
Furthermore, to amp up the personalization and security for user experience Samsung is also working towards integrating its various in-house products. For better privacy and security, the company is using its Samsung Knox Matrix, which now supports home appliances. Samsung is aiming towards data protection for its users and safeguarding the user's home from digital threats By utilizing blockchain technology.
One UI and SmartThings Platform for Smooth Interoperability
To ensure seamless management of all connected devices, Samsung is incorporating Home AI with One UI, its operating system for multiple devices. Additionally, the SmartThings platform and the Home AI will be integrated together, offering users the ability to easily manage their smart home. Samsung’s AI-powered Bixby Voice will further support all smart home devices, which is bound to enhance the overall connectedness experience.
No Timelines Yet for Home AI Release
While Samsung has yet to provide a timeline for the rollout of Home AI or specify which devices will support it, the company’s focus on a personalized, secure, and interconnected experience is clear. Users can expect a more tailored smart home experience once the update becomes available.
