JE Technology Desk: Sony, a Japanese TV giant, has released the BRAVIA X90L series televisions in India. The new offerings have a powerful Cognitive Processor XR for enhanced picture and sound output to deliver an immersive media consumption experience.
As a part of the launch offer, from July 1, buyers can avail discounts up to Rs 24,000 when buying any new BRAVIA TV from the FY23 XR series with a PlayStation 5. However, this offer will last until the stocks last, reports added.
Sony BRAVIA X90L Series Specifications
These TVs have debuted in three screen sizes: 55, 65 and 75 inches. All the offerings come with a 'One Slate Design' and slim bezels. The entire lineup has a 4K screen resolution and several visual enhancement options such as 4K Upscaling, Motion Clarity, Contrast Booster and more. To deliver good sound experience, the offerings have Acoustic Multi Audio, Dolby Atmos, and more.
The independent LEDs in the panel help deliver lifelike contrast, and XR 4K upscaling adds to the visual quality of the video. While Ambient Optimization handles the brightness, Auto HDR Tone Mapping helps improve the gaming experience on PlayStation 5. Buyers can customise options such as VRR and Motion Blur Reduction from the in-built Game Menu in the TV.
As for the software, Google TV offers a plethora of apps and swift integration with Apple products. The BRAVIA Core app on the TV allows viewers to stream movies. For hands-free controls, it comes with Voice Search. They also come with IMAX Enhanced and Netflix Adaptive Calibrated Mode to cater to the audience of the OTT service. Under the hood, the TVs sport Cognitive Processor XR to process visuals and audio. The software supports AirPlay 2 and HomeKit.
