Blinkit, the Zomato-owned quick commerce platform can now deliver the latest PlayStation 5 Slim to eligible areas. The PS5 Slim, which was earlier limited to the US markets is now officially available in India for purchase. The PS5 Slim is the successor to the PlayStation 5, which saw some massive stock shortage, but this time it seems that there will not be any such problems. Potential customers can get their hands on the gaming console from Blinkit in just a few minutes.

The PS5 Slim is available in two different variants including the disc and disc-less variants. The word ‘Slim’ is given because the console gets a 30 per cent reduced size and a 25 per cent reduction in size. It also gets 1 TB built-in storage with expandable via external SSDs option.

In addition, the PS 5 Slim receives four distinct panels, which is a design upgrade. Like the original PS5, the console has a glossy exterior and a matte-finished bottom. Another modification is the addition of a bulge by Sony to house the disc drive on the side. Additionally, you can take out and replace this disc drive. Nonetheless, the gadget is available in digital form. Rather than the standard USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports, it has two USB Type-C ports.

PlayStation 5 Slim with a disc drive gets Rs 54,990 while the Digital Edition is available for a price of Rs 44,990. But if you want the stand, you will have to pay more. Meanwhile, Samsung and Blinkit collaborated earlier this year to distribute the recently released Galaxy S24 series across the nation.
