JE Technology Desk: Sony, a Japanese tech maker, has announced a Marvel's Spider-Man 2 limited edition bundle for fans eagerly waiting for the upcoming title and aiming to transform the looks of their existing consoles. It will feature a custom PS5 console and a DualSense wireless controller with faceplates for existing PS5 consoles.

The front cover will have the symbiote tendrils moving towards the Spider-Man icon. Unlike the front, the back will be black with the logo. As for the DualSense wireless controller, the larger area will be captured by the symbiote design.

"The design was inspired by the in-game symbiote that's taking over the console and controller, but you can still see some of the underlying red under the tendrils," said Jacinda Chew, Senior Art Director, Insomniac Games.

While the Tempest 3D Audiotech on the PS5 will help gamers monitor the source of the sound, the SSD will help seamless character switching in the game. The DualSense wireless controller will deliver an immersive action with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, Sony highlighted in the blog post.

The Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle comprises a limited edition PS5 console and DualSense wireless controller with a voucher for a "digital copy of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Standard Edition" game.

For the ones who already own on PS5 console, you can buy the PS5 console covers for the Digital Edition and the DualSense Wireless Controller separately to add zing to your products.

PS5 Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle Availability

The pre-orders for the product will start on July 28. It will be available in the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Netherlands and Austria from direct.playstation.com and select retail partners. While it will be available in other countries, India is not separately listed in the blog.

These will be available after pre-orders from September 1 before the release of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on October 20. The voucher can be redeemed once the game is released. Sony has not revealed the prices of the new products.
