JE Technology Desk: Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G will launch in India on July 7. The smartphone was showcased with the Tecno Camon 20 series in May, but the pricing and availability of the handset remained under wraps at the launch event. Tecno unveiled two smartphones: Tecno Camon 20 and Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G, at the event that are already available for buying in India.

The main highlight of the Camon 20 Premier 5G will be the triple camera setup on the back. It will have a 50MP primary RGBW-Pro lens with Sensor-Shift optical image stabilization (OIS), a 108MP ultra-wide lens that will also double up as a macro lens and a 2MP bokeh lens on the back. The camera module also sports a ring flashlight and laser focus sensor. On the front, it has a 32MP AI selfie camera.

Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G Specifications

The Camon 20 sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display with 10-bit colour depth. Under the hood, the handset is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 8050 chipset. Speaking of memory, it sports 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. Users can expand the LPDDR4X RAM up to 16GB via the virtual memory option.

The device runs on Android 13 on top of HiOS 13. To power the internals, a 5000mAh battery with 45W Flash Charging. Tecno claims the battery can charge up to 67 per cent in around 30 minutes. For connectivity, the global variant sports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, FM and OTG support. As for security, it has an in-display fingerprint reader. It is listed on Amazon in a Serenity Blue colour option.

While the company has not made any official announcement about the price of the upcoming device, it will be available on the e-commerce website Amazon.
