Twitter has once again made an interesting change to its feature list using which the Twitter Blue subscribers would be able to edit their tweet within an hour of the time they posted it. The Elon Musk-led micro-blogging platform only allows Blue Subscribers to edit their tweets.
This came after the company’s official Twitter Blue tweeted announcing the major change for the blue users. "Blue subscribers now have up to 1 hour to edit their Tweets," the official Twitter Blue account tweeted on Tuesday. Soon after the change was made, the company’s support page underwent some changes highlighting the addition of a new feature with a new one-hour time limit to edit the tweet.
"This much-needed tool provides you a one-hour window to make a select few modifications to Tweets that have already been published. Use it to update information, tag someone, or rearrange any linked media. According to the support website, "Edit Tweet currently only works for original Tweets and quote Tweets". When the Edit Tweet tool was first released in October of last year, it had a 30-minute time limit.
While the non-Twitter Blue subscribers still do not have a way to edit their tweets. If they want the feature, it would be necessary to opt for the Twitter Blue subscription, which is available at a price of Rs 900 per month.
In the meantime, Linda Yaccarino became the new CEO of Twitter, allowing Elon Musk to concentrate on Tesla and SpaceX. Before welcoming Joe Benarroch to the microblogging site, Yaccarino, the former chairman of global advertising and partnerships at NBC Universal, upgraded her LinkedIn profile as CEO of Twitter. Benarroch served with Yaccarino as executive vice president at NBC Universal. Benarroch, from one bird to the next, welcomed the flock. @Twitter, let's get to work," she wrote.
