Vivo has expanded its S-series lineup in China with the launch of the Vivo S60 and the new Vivo S60 Vitality Edition. The latest phones focus heavily on design, battery life, and cameras, while also bringing high refresh rate AMOLED displays and large batteries to the premium mid-range segment.

The Vivo S60 arrives with a slim unibody design that uses what the company calls “cold-carved glass.” It comes in three finishes, Early Summer Green, Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Sea of Stars. Vivo says the phone will go on sale in China starting June 3 through its official online store.
Pricing for the standard Vivo S60 starts at CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs. 50,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 3,999 (around Rs. 56,000), while the top-end 16GB + 512GB version costs CNY 4,399 (roughly Rs. 62,000).
The Vivo S60 Vitality Edition sits slightly lower in the lineup. Its pricing begins at CNY 2,899 (around Rs. 41,000) for the 8GB + 256GB model. Vivo is also offering 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants priced at CNY 3,199 (roughly Rs. 45,000) and CNY 3,499 (around Rs. 49,000), respectively.
On the front, the Vivo S60 sports a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate support, HDR, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1.07 billion colours. The display is paired with IP69-rated protection against dust and water.
Under the hood, the standard Vivo S60 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Vitality Edition uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Full Power chipset instead, along with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Cameras are another major focus of the new Vivo phones. The standard Vivo S60 packs a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS. It also gets an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with support for up to 100x digital zoom. On the front, Vivo has added a 50-megapixel selfie camera capable of recording 4K videos.
The Vitality Edition keeps the same primary and ultrawide cameras but skips the periscope telephoto sensor found on the standard model.

Both smartphones are backed by a massive 7,200mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging. Vivo has also included a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and Android 16-based OriginOS 6 on the devices.
The Vivo S60 weighs around 207g, while the lighter Vitality Edition comes in at approximately 199g.
