Vivo is gearing up for the Indian debut of the Vivo V60 on August 12 at 12 PM IST. Whether you'll see a full livestream or a low-key launch announcement isn't yet clear. If it goes live, you can catch it on Vivo’s official website, social channels, or YouTube channel. Once available, expect to find the phone on Flipkart, Amazon, and Vivo’s own online store.

Design & Colour Options

The V60 will arrive in three finishes: Auspicious Gold, Mist Grey, and Moonlit Blue—the latter featuring a wavy, textured look. Its triple rear camera setup is housed in a distinctive layout: two lenses grouped in a pill-shaped island and a third positioned nearby above the flash. Plus, it's rated IP68 and IP69 for strong dust and water resistance.

Display & Visuals

Reports suggest a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen with a sharp 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, wrapped in slim bezels. A centred hole-punch cutout houses the selfie camera, giving the phone a modern, immersive look.

Performance & Software

Under the hood, the Vivo V60 will feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Vivo claims upgrades of approximately 27% in CPU speed, 30% in GPU performance, and a 25% improvement in gaming capability over the previous model. The device is expected to run on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and will include AI-powered tools like Gemini Live, AI Captions, AI Smart Call Assistant, and AI Magic Move.

Camera Capabilities

Vivo is partnering with Zeiss for its triple rear camera assembly. That will likely include:

  • A 50 MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS,
  • A 50 MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens,
  • And an unspecified ultra-wide module.

On the front, there’s a 50 MP selfie camera. The lineup supports enhanced modes such as Zeiss Multifocal Portrait, 10X Stage Telephoto, AI Four Season Portrait, and a Wedding Vlog feature for special occasions.

Battery Life

The V60 packs in a 6,500 mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting usage—though details like charging speed haven’t been confirmed yet.
