Vivo V70 Elite, V70 Launch: Vivo is all set to drop its latest V70 lineup series smartphones in India today, starting at 12pm IST, and the smartphone maker is going to launch two new models of this series, the Vivo V70 and the Vivo V70 Elite. This time the models are expected to come with upgraded processors, Zeiss-backed lenses, and slimmer bezels. These devices will be positioned in the mid-tier range of the market and will be up for grabs as soon as the announcement goes live, the live event of which will be streamed online.
Vivo V70 and V70 Elite: When, Where, and How to Watch?
The launch is slated to take place today, Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 12 pm IST. The company is going to hold a livestreaming event for the device on YouTube, which will give users from all over the world a real-time view as the unveiling takes place.
This new lineup will be the successor to the V60 and V60e models that were launched earlier, and the devices are here to consolidate the company's hold in the mid-tier 5G smartphone market.
Vivi V70 Elite and V70 Specs and Features
Going by teasers that were dropped, both the models are expected to sport extremely thin bezels, 1.25 mm narrow bezels, which the smartphone maker has claimed are the thinnest in the under 50K segment.
The devices are expected to sport a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with 459 ppi pixel density and up to 120 Hz of refresh rate. The devices are also expected to sport a peak brightness of 5000 nits to deliver an enriched viewing experience.
Performance
Under the hood, it has been confirmed that the upper V70 Elite variant will run on Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 silicon, while the vanilla V70 will have Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 silicon as its core.
Both the smartphones will have OriginOS 6 as their software companion, which is based on Android 16 and is expected to bring new enhancements and upgrades to the new devices.
Camera
This is probably a major strong point for most Vivo phones these days, expected to sport a Zeiss-backed 50 MP Sony IMX882 primary shooter with optical image stabilisation (OIS), which is further coupled with a 50 MP telephoto lens and an ultrawide lens as well. For selfies and video calls, you can expect the devices to sport a 50MP front camera. As far as the battery department is concerned, this time the V70 series is expected to come with a 6500 mAh cell and 90 W wired fast charging for those quick, last-minute, long-lasting charges.
Vivo V70 Series Expected Pricing and Availability
If early reports are anything to go by, the Vivo V70 5G could start at Rs. 45,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. There’s also talk of a 12GB + 256GB option, which may be priced at Rs. 49,999. In terms of colours, buyers might get to choose between Passion Red and Lemon Yellow.
As for the Vivo V70 Elite, it’s tipped to begin at Rs. 51,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 256GB version could come in at Rs. 56,999, while the top-end 12GB + 512GB variant is expected to carry a price tag of Rs. 61,999. Colour choices may include Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black.
Both smartphones are likely to go on sale online as well as through offline retail stores soon after the official launch.
