Vivo, a Chinese smartphone maker, is reportedly gearing up to launch a foldable smartphone in India. Soon after the rumours of Vivo X Fold 3, reports now claim the company may bring the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro to India next month. According to a MySmartPrice report, the anticipated launch date could fall around 'early June'. Apart from the release timeline, the report also leaked details about the durability of the device.

The hinge of X Fold 3 Pro will likely get a Carbon Fiber Keel component for added durability. It may offer up to 5,00,000 reliable folds for up to 12 years, tested by TÜV Rheinland. The handset was spotted on the  Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) certification platform, swirling rumours around India launch expectations. Considering the handset has launched in China, here are the expected specifications and price.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Specifications (Expected)

The foldable smartphone could get a 6.53-inch AMOLED 120Hz cover and an 8.03-inch AMOLED 120Hz main screen. Under the hood, the device may have a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and Adreno 750 GPU. It may run on the latest Funtouch OS version based on Android 14.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro may have a 5,700mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support. As for the optics, the device will likely have a 50MP OIS main + 50MP ultrawide + 64MP telephoto rear and a 32MP selfie shooter. As for connectivity, the device could get Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Price (Expected)

The handset carries a starting price of 9,999 Yuan in China, which converts to Rs 1,17,800. However, buyers can expect the device to cost more and sit in the sub-Rs 1.5 lakh price category in India.
