Vodafone Idea (Vi) has quietly introduced a new ₹340 prepaid recharge plan for its users, offering 1GB of daily data with a validity of 28 days. While the telecom company hasn’t made an official announcement, the plan has already started appearing for select users on the Vi app and website. Positioned as a budget-friendly option, this plan is ideal for users with moderate daily data needs who want a consistent, no-frills data pack. Along with data benefits, the plan is expected to include standard calling and SMS features, although full details may vary by circle. As Vi continues to expand its prepaid offerings, the ₹340 plan adds a practical choice for customers looking for balanced data and validity at an affordable price.
Vi customers can avail of unlimited internet between 12 am and 6 am.
Vodafone Idea (Vi) has stealthily launched a new prepaid recharge plan for subscribers in India. It includes unlimited voice calls, a daily allotment of data, and a capped number of SMS per day. The plan is reported to be offered in some telecom circles in the country and has a validity period of service for 28 days. Besides, Vi prepaid customers also enjoy enhanced night data alongside the Weekend Data Rollover benefit.
Vi Rs. 340 Recharge Plan Benefits
Vi's new prepaid offer was launched at the price of Rs. 340 in India. Customers also enjoy unlimited voice calls, 1GB of data each day, and 100 SMS each day for 28 days. The telecom provider also mentioned that while high-speed internet will be provided, it will be capped at 64Kbps after the data allowance is exhausted. Moreover, there will be a charge for the newspaper SMS quota of Rs. 1 per local and Rs. 1.5 per STD during the limit.
There are several additional advantages as well. Vi customers can avail of 1GB of extra data of their additional free usage. In addition, they can also take advantage of unlimited internet access from 12 AM to 6 AM for free. For his prepaid charge of Rs 340, the telecom operator provides the benefits of Weekend Rollover as well. It earmarks the weekday saved mobile data intended for the weekends and rolls the unused allowance for the weekend.
As an example, clients possessing the 1GB per day data package will be able to carry over the unused allowance of 500MB to the weekend’s limit. Another offering is Data Delight, which enables claimable backup data to be retained for those who run out of the designated quota.
Importantly, the telecom operator inaugurated its 5G services last month in a few cities in India, which puts them alongside Airtel and Reliance Jio as the 5G network providers in the country. It is apparently live in Mumbai and in expectation for Bihar, Delhi, Karnataka, and Punjab will be waiting for the launch.
