WHATSAPP is rolling out the 'Status Archive' feature on its business version to enhance the experience of beta users. This functionality will allow testers to send previous status updates on their accounts even after 24 hours, according to WABetaInfo.
The new business-oriented tool is rolling out for some beta testers on Android and will expand to more testers in the upcoming weeks. According to the report, the Business beta version marked '2.23.11.18' is a compatible build for the Status archive feature. A business user can try out the feature after installing the stated build (or a more recent one) from the Google Play Store on Android.

While the news tracker stressed that a newly redesigned app is in works, it adds that WhatsApp is taking care of the existing features within the instant messaging app. The new enhancement has debuted in the 'Status' tab.
As always, the news tracker bundled the report with screenshots to give us a glimpse of the new feature. Once the option is enabled, a user will be notified through a banner and status updates will get archived after one day on the device.
A user can manage archive preferences and check out the archives from the menu within the Status field. These archives will be private, and only businesses can view these archived media and texts.
WhatsApp Status Archive: How will it help businesses?
Business accounts can republish their status for customers again via the archive library. It will help save time and amp up business reach with less effort. These updates will be available on a compliant device for up to 30 days. Additionally, users will continue to enjoy the ability to make ads for other Meta platforms like Instagram and Facebook or share these updates until they expire.
However, at the moment, the report speculates it could be a business-exclusive feature as no information on a possible debut on WhatsApp Messenger is out yet.
Meanwhile, on a separate note, the company is testing a screen-sharing option for video calls on a beta version of the app. You can read more on this here.
