WHATSAPP, one of the major players in the world of instant messaging applications, is reportedly releasing a new feature called the sticker maker tool using which iOS users would be able to create their personalised stickers within the application. The platform has a variety of emojis and yet rolling out the customised sticker maker tool to make the chats more expressive and fun.
The official changelog of the platform still lists a new group feature as a component of the iOS 23.6.74 update, but it also suggests that it may bring the customised sticker maker for the users, according to a report by WaBetaInfo, a WhatsApp news and features reporting website.
The feature was already available for the beta users, and now the platform is rolling out the feature for the iOS users in a phased manner. If you are an iOS user, make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed, and if you still have not gotten the feature, you may get it in the upcoming updates in future versions.
"In particular, it is necessary to paste a subject into a chat after directly extracting it from an image. The image will be automatically turned into a sticker by the app, which the user can then add to their collection of stickers. There are plans to bring this feature to older versions of iOS, but it is currently being rolled out to all iOS 16 users,” according to a report from WABetaInfo.
Meanwhile, the platform is already working on a slew of new features and could roll out the same for all the available devices including smartphones, desktops, tablets, and laptops. Additionally, the company in the past 1 year has already introduced many new features for the platform including call links, status link preview, a view once mode, and more.
