Apple, a California-based technology company, announced that it will hold its highly anticipated annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in an online format from June 5 to 9, 2023, with an opportunity for developers and students to celebrate in person on opening day at a special experience at Apple Park.
Apple WWDC23: What To Expect:
WWDC23, which is open to all developers, will highlight the most recent iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS advancements. As part of Apple's ongoing commitment to assisting developers in creating innovative apps, the event will also provide them with exclusive access to Apple engineers, as well as insight into new technologies and tools that will assist them in realising their visions.
"WWDC is one of our favourite times of the year at Apple because it allows us to connect with the talented developers from all over the world who make this community so special," said Susan Prescott, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. "WWDC23 will be our biggest and most exciting event yet, and we can't wait to see many of you there, both online and in person!"
Apple WWDC23 Event:
This year's online program will include sessions, one-on-one labs, and opportunities to engage with Apple engineers and other developers, in addition to announcements from the keynote and State of the Union speeches.
Developers and students will also be able to join a special day at Apple Park on June 5 to witness the keynote and State of the Union with the rest of the global online community. Space for this in-person event is limited, and information on how to apply may be found on the Apple Developer website and app.
Apple WWDC23 Swift Student Challenge:
WWDC23 is also an opportunity to help student developers by participating in the Swift Student Challenge, one of many Apple programs aimed at elevating developers and learners of all ages who like coding.
