WWDC 2023 is around the corner, and reports of potential product launches are doing rounds on the internet for a while now. In the latest move, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg expects Apple to introduce new Macs other than the expected MR headsets and new OSs. For the unversed, the event will start on June 5.
Moreover, Gurman says the keynote could be the "longest ever" and will likely exceed two hours. Additionally, the Chief Correspondent noted in a report that the tech giant is testing its 'high-end Macs' ahead of Worldwide Developers Conference.
I’m expecting three major focus areas next week: 1) several new Macs, 2) the mixed-reality headset, 3) the new OSs. With all of the new hardware and software, I expect the keynote to be one of Apple’s longest ever and easily exceed two hours.

In another report, Gurman claims Apple is planning two models - Mac 14,13 and Mac 14,14 running on M2 Max and an unreleased M2 Ultra processor. M2 Ultra will replace M1 Ultra and powers the Mac Studio that debuted last year in March.
It is a measure to upgrade the Mac lineup and draw buyers in sluggish market conditions. These desktop machines appeal to heavy users that deploy them for video and graphics editing.
The first machine in question runs on M2 Max, which has eight high-performance and four efficiency cores with 30 graphics cores. It is similar to what the company offers in MacBook Pro powered by M2 Max.
The first Mac has 96GB memory and runs on macOS 13.4. As for the second machine, it boasts 16 performance and eight efficiency cores with 60 graphics cores. It is undergoing scrutiny in three memory variants - 64GB, 128GB and 192GB.
To add, the M2 Ultra could come in an even more powerful variant with 76 GPU cores. It was designed for a top-end Mac Pro desktop that runs on an Intel chip currently, Gurman adds.
Meanwhile, on a related note, the company will likely bring the highly-anticipated AR/VR headset to the event. In a recent leak, Ross Young tips the display on the headset could have up to 5000 nits of peak brightness and a pixel density of 4,000 ppi. The two displays on the inside will measure a 1.41-inch diagonally.
