XIAOMI, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched its highly anticipated Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro in the global market including India with the current powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and Leica-powered camera lenses with optical image stabilisation. The company has launched the phone alongside some accessories including the TWS earbuds and a smartwatch.

Xiaomi 13 Specifications:

The vanilla trim Xiaomi 13 gets a slim bezel and chin design with a 6.36 inch E6 Amoled display with a peak brightness of 1900 nits and 463 ppi. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the current most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen with Adreno GPU support. The phone features up to 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage. The phone is backed by a 4500 mAh battery with 67 W wired and 50 W wireless charging support.

Connectivity features include WiFi 7, dual Bluetooth, digital car key made in collaboration with Google and BMW. It also gets an IP68 certification which protects it from dust and water.

In terms of optics, the Xiaomi 13 features a 50 MP Leica-powered optical lens with hyper optical image stabilisation, as well as a 12 MP ultra-wide and 10 MP secondary lens with ALD technology for better and more true-to-life colour shots with a 25 percent improvement in results. The phone also gains a new pro mode with a special pet mode.

Xiaomi 13 Pro Specifications:

The Xiaomi 13 Pro gets a 6.73-inch curved WQHD+ Pro HD display with a customisable refresh rate panel of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1900 nits. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with RAM of up to 12 GB and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage with Adreno 740 GPU support. The phone would run on MIUI 14 based on the latest Android 13. The smartphone is backed by a 4,820mAh battery with 120W fast wired and 50W wireless charging.

Additionally, Xiaomi offers the smartphone with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking support, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and IP68 water and dust resistance.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone gets a Leica-powered triple camera setup. Xiaomi 13 Pro gets a 50MP main Sony IMX989 sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto sensor with a 3x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone gets a 32 MP front camera which can record 1080p at 30 fps.

Xiaomi 13 And Xiaomi 13 Pro Price In India:

Xiaomi 13 will be available at a price of 999 Euros for the base 8 GB and 128 GB trim. The smartphone would be available in White, Black, Flora Green, Mountain Blue, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Gray colours.

Xiaomi 13 Pro will be available at a starting price of 1,299 Euros for the base trim of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage is 1,299 Euros. It comes in two colours- ceramic black and ceramic white with bio ceramic material.
