JE Technology Desk: MIUI has been among the top favourites of Xiaomi fans for its vast feature set. While the company recently introduced the latest MIUI 14, leaks are hinting at information about the upcoming version - MIUI 15. Two new features of the ROM were revealed recently by Xiaomiui.

The first is an improved clipboard that may allow users to copy files and images and paste them into an app. This option is already present on Samsung smartphones. It will further help ease media sharing between apps. According to a screengrab shared by Gizmochina, users can copy a photo from the web and paste it simply within an app (Telegram, in this case).

The second one will be a volume boost option. A toggle switch in quick settings may allow users to boost volume up to 200 per cent. It could help a listener watch and listen in noisy surroundings. According to the report, Xiaomi 14 and Redmi Note 13 series devices may run on MIUI 15 out of the box. A user must note these details are not from official sources.

Besides these features, the company will likely add enhancements to the overall performance, more privacy options and other regional-specific features. No official details on a possible release date are out. However, the report states that the new ROM could release in December 2023 in China and go global in 2024, a similar roadmap to MIUI 14.
