After a successful sprint with the Redmi Note 12 series, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to launch the Redmi Note 13 series. The phones are tipped to offer better performance and improvements in camera.

A report from Xiaomiui claims the Redmi Note 13 series could have 4G and 4G Near-Field Communication (NFC) models. This model will likely not launch in India, according to the report. It may arrive in Turkey, Europe and Indonesia. This handset may draw its power from a Snapdragon chip.

The Note 13 5G will likely have a MediaTek chipset and come in three trims: 50MP, 64MP and 108MP sensors. Plus, an ultra-wide and macro lens is tipped in the report. It will likely arrive in India.

Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Pro Plus 5G are tipped to offer a 200MP primary lens, which could be a Samsung ISOCELL HP3. It may have an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens. These handsets will likely source power from a MediaTek chip. The devices may launch in India.

Another device, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, could have a 200MP camera and a Snapdragon processor. This could be a performance-oriented device. The report added that while it was expected that the devices may arrive with MIUI 15, they will likely run on Android 13 on top of MIUI 14.

Coming to other leaked specifications, the Note 13 5G may have a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED screen, 5020mAh battery, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It could weigh 187g and be 7.98mm thick. An in-display fingerprint reader may be there on the phone. Further, the 13 Pro 5G may have a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED screen, a 4,880mAh battery and up to 1TB storage. It could have a thickness of 9mm and weigh 203g.

Redmi Note 13 Series Launch Date (Expected)

According to reports, the phones could launch in early October in China. A reader must note that the company has not shared any official updates on the smartphones at the time of filing.
