YOUTUBE, a popular video streaming platform owned by search engine giant Google has announced that it is experimenting to limit the ad blockers functionality. With this new feature, the company aims to restrict users to use the ad blockers on the platform. Previously, a tipster revealed some key details about the new step that Google was anticipated to test.

In a recent screenshot shared by tipster Sazk 100, he mentioned that YouTube has shown a popup that mentioned that ad blockers are no longer available for use on the platform. It means that YouTube users with ad blockers installed on the platform will no longer be able to stream on the platform.

Additionally, it can also be said that the users will now be asked to subscribe to YouTube Premium for further ad-free streaming capabilities or disable the ad-blocker. Further, the users are now likely to get options to select the offerings from the several offerings.

However, the report suggests that the current ad blocker program is an experiment that the platform is testing globally. The small experiment aims to let the users know that they would require to disable the adblocker in order to continue watching the content.

As an alternative, the users can opt for the YoutTune Premium if they really want to continue watching the content with an ad-free experience. The report further suggests that this step is more likely to work as Youtube ads have become more annoying over the period of time.

Meanwhile, at its IO 2023 event, the company announced a slew of new Pixel products, including the Pixel 7a and Pixel Tablet, as well as Android 14 and Bard-related announcements. Surprisingly, the company has added AI capabilities to Gmail, Maps, Docs, Sheets, and Slides, as well as other Workspace services. Furthermore, Android 14 now includes AI capabilities such as AI-generated wallpapers, Emojis, and more.
