Hyderabad News: A 25-year-old man died after collapsing on a badminton court at Nagole Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday evening. The incident occurred while he was playing a doubles match around 8:00 PM.
The deceased has been identified as Gundla Rakesh, an employee at a private company in Hyderabad. He was the son of Gundla Venkateswarlu, who had previously served as Deputy Sarpanch of Tallada village in Khammam district.

According to CCTV footage from the stadium, Rakesh bent down to pick up the shuttlecock during the game but suddenly collapsed on the spot. Other players immediately rushed to help him. One person was seen performing chest compressions in an attempt to revive him.
Rakesh was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him brought dead.
His sudden death has sparked fresh concern about the rising number of heart attacks among young individuals, especially during physical activities like sports and gym workouts.
Doctors stress the need for regular health check-ups, early detection of heart issues and lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of such incidents, even among those who appear fit and active.
In separate news, Residents of Hyderabad's Golconda area are on edge following reports of a leopard sighting near Taramati Baradari over the past two days. Locals claimed to have seen the animal near the Musi River on two separate occasions. One group reported spotting the leopard walking along Taramati Baradari road before it moved towards the riverbed, while another group gave a similar account.
Although the reports quickly spread on social media, no photo or video proof has surfaced so far. Acting on these claims, Hyderabad police have informed forest officials, though no pug marks have been found in the area. Forest personnel remain on alert and authorities have urged the public to report any further sightings immediately.
