Hyderabad Skywalk Projects: In a major update, the Telangana government is working on building skywalks to link existing metro rail stations with any of the nearby commercial or apartment complexes in Hyderabad. The new construction will eliminate the problem of crossing busy roads, and provide easy and direct access to metro stations.

The government has already built skywalks at multiple places. While the authorities have received positive feedback for existing skywalks, it is planning to construct more such pathways in Nagole, Stadium, Durgam Cheruvu, Kukatpally, among other places. The work was carried out by the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMR) and L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad (L&TMRH).
