Hyderabad Food Poisoning: An instance of food poisoning from Ranga Reddy District has been reported amid Hyderabad's stringent surveillance of poor-quality food. Three friends reportedly became unwell after consuming grilled chicken and biryani, according to the officials. Simultaneously, they all began to have terrible nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. When they arrived at the hospital, the physicians confirmed that they had food poisoning.
The friends have complained to the Food Safety Authorities, requesting action against the Aroma Restaurant and the app. They claimed that the poor quality of the food they were given was the cause of their poor health. The victims informed the authorities that on November 20, they placed an online order for the meal from Aroma Restaurant. A complaint has been made by the friends.
The matter is currently being investigated further.
In Hyderabad, the number of deadly food poisoning cases has increased. A similar incident occurred in Nandi Nagar, Banjara Hills, in late October of this year, where a 29-year-old woman allegedly died after eating momos from a roadside vendor. More than fifty people who had eaten junk from the same vendor became ill, while Reshma, the victim woman, died.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) conducted an investigation as a result, which sparked a citywide crackdown.
