Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: The Hyderabad Traffic Police have advised commuters to plan their travel carefully today, January 12, 2026, as the ‘Arrive Alive’ road safety campaign is expected to draw large crowds to the Sri Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium in Yousufguda. This statewide campaign by the Telangana State Police aims to promote safer road practices.

To manage the anticipated influx of participants and vehicles, authorities have warned of moderate congestion and announced temporary traffic diversions that will remain in effect from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Commuters are urged to avoid travelling toward the venue during peak hours to avoid inconvenience.

Hyderabad Traffic Alert: Check Diversions Around Yousufguda

The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced traffic diversions that will remain in place from 2:30 PM to 6 PM today, January 12, Times Now reported.

- From Maitrivanam Junction towards Yousufguda Basti: Vehicles coming from Rahamathnagar, Karmikanagar, and the Borabanda bus stop will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti towards Krishnakanth Park-GTS Temple-Kalyan Nagar-Mothinagar- Borabanda bus stop.

- From Maitrivanam towards Jubilee Hills via Yousufguda: Vehicles heading towards Jubilee Hills checkpoint via Yousufguda Basti and Madhapur will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti towards RBI Quarters-Krishna Nagar Junction-Jubilee Hills checkpoint.

- From Jubilee Hills checkpoint and Venkatagiri towards the stadium: Vehicles travelling towards Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Stadium will be diverted at Krishna Nagar Junction towards Srinagar Colony-Panjagutta.

- From Borabanda Bus Stop towards Karmikanagar and Rahamathnagar: Vehicles passing via Yousufguda Check Post will be redirected at Prime Garden Function Hall, Sri Ram Nagar X Roads towards Midland Bakery-TGS Colony-Kalyan Nagar Junction-Vengalrao Nagar-Umesh Chandra statue U-turn-ICICI U-turn-Maitrivanam junction.

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Check Parking Arrangement And Advisory For Attendees

- To facilitate smooth travel, the traffic police have arranged parking for all attendees at TGSP Battalion Ground in Yousufguda.

- Commuters travelling towards Jubilee Hills, Panjagutta, Madhapur, and surrounding areas are advised to leave early or use alternative routes to avoid delays.

- Authorities have urged commuters to follow the advisory and cooperate with on-site personnel to minimise traffic congestion in and around the venue.
