Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Hyderabad traffic police have announced road closures and traffic diversions after continuous heavy rainfall caused the Musi River to swell to dangerous levels. Several low-lying routes have been shut and alternative paths have been arranged to ensure smooth traffic flow.

Officials said that the restrictions are temporary but necessary for public safety as floodwater has entered many areas near the river. Commuters have been asked to follow diversions and avoid travelling on closed roads.

Hyderabad Traffic Diversions Announced Amid Heavy Rain:

Kulsumpura–Puranapul (via 100 Feet Road, Jiyaguda): Closed for all vehicles. Alternate route available through Karwan and Gopi Hotel Road.

Moosarambagh to Amberpet: All vehicles, including RTC buses and heavy traffic, diverted at Bharath Petrol Pump (left turn) towards Golnaka New Bridge.

The police have urged citizens to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with the diversions. Further updates will be issued depending on the water level in Musi River.

In separate news, heavy flooding in the Musi River has led to water entering the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) in Hyderabad, forcing the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) to halt all services from the premises. Authorities have shifted bus operations to alternative points across the city.
