Hyderabad Water Cut On March 8: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has announced water supply disruptions for residents in several areas of Hyderabad on Saturday, March 8. As per HMWSSB, water supply will either be completely interrupted or available at low pressure between 6 am and 6 pm on Saturday. The HMWSSB has requested residents in these areas to use water sparingly during the affected hours.
The water supply disruption is due to ongoing work by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), which is constructing a flyover near BHEL Junction. To facilitate this project, the 1500 mm diameter water pipeline at the site needs to be relocated, following a request from the NHAI, the water board said in a press release on Wednesday.
