Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: In anticipation of a large-scale interactive programme organised by the Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued a comprehensive advisory for commuters, urging them to plan their journeys accordingly.
The event, set to take place at the L.B. Stadium on Friday, is expected to see the participation of 25,000 recently promoted government teachers. As a result, the traffic restrictions will be in effect from 12 pm to 7 pm on August 2.

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Alternative Routes
Traffic from the AR Petrol Station near the Public Gardens towards Khairatabad will not be allowed and will instead be diverted at the AR Petrol Pump towards Nampally.
Traffic from Basheerbagh heading towards the AR petrol station will be diverted at Khairatabad, Abids - Nampally station road.
Traffic from Sujatha School lane towards the Khan Lateef Khan building will be diverted towards Nampally, the police have stated.
Hyderabad Traffic: Avoid THESE Key Roads
Commuters are advised to avoid several key junctions during the restricted hours, including the VV Statue, Khairatabad flyover, Ambedkar Statue, NTR Marg, Telugu Talli, Tank Bund, RTC X Roads, Indira Park, Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad Traffic Police Junction, Basheerbagh, BJR Statue Circle, SBI Gunfoundry, Abids Circle, AR Petrol Pump (Public Gardens), Nampally, KLK Building, Liberty, Himayathnagar, Assembly, MJ Market and Hyderguda.
Meanwhile, in a separate update, banks in Hyderabad will observe nine holidays in August, including Sundays, national holidays and the second and fourth Saturdays. ATMs and mobile banking will remain operational during these closures. Key dates include Janmashtami on August 26, Independence Day on August 15 and Raksha Bandhan on August 19. Across India, banks will be closed for up to 13 days, with variations based on state-specific holidays. The complete list for Hyderabad includes closures on August 4, 10, 11, 15, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26.
