Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Ahead of the Republic Day celebrations on January 26, the Hyderabad traffic police on Sunday issued advisory for the residents. In its advisory, the traffic police stated that restriction will be implemented near Parade Ground for five hours between 7 am and 12 noon. The authority has advised the residents to avoid travelling on roads from Punjagutta, Begumpet to Secunderabad Parade Ground. It further stated that the road between Tivoli X road and Plaza X road will be closed for five hours to avoid congestion. The traffic police have also suggested the residents to utilise the public transportation and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.

While providing details, the authority stated that traffic congestion is likely at several regions, including Sangeeth X roads, YMCA X roads, Patny X roads, SBI X roads, Plaza, CTO Junction, Brookbond junction, Tivoli Junction, Sweekar Upakar junction, Secunderabad Club, Tadbund, Balamrai X Roads, Rasoolpura, Begumpet and Paradise. Public are requested to avoid SP Road, MG Road, RP Road and SD Road.

Traffic Police Announce Diversions:

- In its advisory, traffic police stated that the vehicular movement from Begumpet towards Sangeeth X roads will be diverted at CTO X roads.
- The vehicles coming from Karkhana will be diverted at Sweekar Upakar towards YMCA Clock Tower Patny
- It further stated that the vehicles coming from RP Road will be diverted at Patny X road towards Paradise
- Vehicles from Sangeeth X road will be diverted at YMCA. It will be further directed towards Clock Tower Patny Paradise Rasoolpura

- The authority stated that the vehicular movement coming from Bowenpally, Tadbund, towards Tivoli will be diverted at Brook Bond
- Vehicles coming from Patny will not be allowed towards SBH-Sweekar Upakar

The authority has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly in the early hours to avoid any inconveniences.
