Telangana Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday stated that several districts of Telangana are likely to receive light to heavy rainfall for the next few days. The weather department, while providing details, stated that multiple regions are set to witness thunderstorms and gusty winds along with the heavy rain. It further stated that the continuous rain is likely to provide relief from the heat by reducing the temperature by two to four degrees Celsius. However, the IMD also stated that the rain will lead to issues like waterlogging in the key cities, leading to inconveniences for the commuters.
While providing details, the weather department stated that several districts, including Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, and Suryapet, are likely to witness rain on Saturday. It further stated that some of the regions are also expected to experience lightning and strong surface winds up to 40 kmph. It advised the residents of these districts to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid any inconveniences.
The IMD further stated that several other districts, including the capital city Hyderabad, Jangaon, Jogulamba Gadwal, Mahbubnagar, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Nagarkurnool, Narayanpet, Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Vikarabad, Wanaparthy, and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, are expected to witness moderate to heavy rain on Sunday. It emphasised that while the maximum temperature of Hyderabad is likely to be calculated at 30 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is expected to remain around 22 degrees Celsius.

The weather department further stated that the residents of Hyderabad are likely to witness cloudy skies and gentle breezes for the next few days. It also said that the key locations of the city are expected to witness waterlogging, leading to inconveniences. The IMD stated that several other states, including Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Maharashtra, are likely to witness light to heavy rain for the next few days.
