Telangana Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday stated that several districts of Telangana, including Hyderabad, are expected to witness light to heavy rainfall in the upcoming days. The weather department stated that along with rainfall, these districts are also likely to receive thunderstorms and gusty winds. It further stated that the rainfall will reduce the temperature by two to four degrees Celsius, providing major relief from the scorching heat. The weather department has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid any inconveniences.
While providing details, the weather department stated that these districts are likely to receive light to heavy rainfall till June 4. The IMD also stated that Hyderabad is likely to witness light rain and cloudy skies for the next few days.
It added that while the maximum temperature in the capital city of Telangana is likely to be recorded at 36 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is likely to remain around 24 degrees Celsius. While the rainfall will provide relief from the heat, it will lead to issues like waterlogging and power outages.
Telangana Weather Forecast Till June 4:
The weather department stated that light rain and thunderstorms are expected in all the districts of Telangana, except Karimnagar and Khammam, on June 2. Apart from this, several districts, except Kamareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Suryapet, Khammam, and Kothagudem, are expected to receive light to heavy rainfall on June 3.
The weather department stated that most of the Telangana districts are set to receive rainfall on June 4. It advised the residents of the coastal regions to avoid business activities during the rainfall and limit their outings to avoid any inconveniences.
Apart from Telangana, several other states, including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka, are expected to receive light to heavy rainfall till June 8.
