A suspected thief was tied to a pole and beaten by villagers in Telangana’s Gujarat Doctor Thrashed For Asking To Remove Slippers Before Entering Emergency Ward | Watchdistrict. The incident occurred in Yellareddygudem village when the accused, Pogala Ganesh, was caught on the night of September 17. The locals, who had been keeping a close watch due to a spate of recent burglaries, apprehended Ganesh, suspecting him of involvement in thefts from temples, schools and homes.

The situation took a surprising turn when Ganesh expressed hunger, prompting one of the villagers to offer him 'pulihora,' a traditional dish. A video of the incident, showing the youth being fed while still tied up, surfaced on social media the following day, bringing the event to public attention.

The accused later confessed to stealing from various places but revealed that his family was unaware of his activities. He also mentioned that this was his first time being caught by the police. After feeding him, the villagers handed Ganesh over to the authorities for further investigation.

In another strange incident of theft, a recent robbery attempt at a hotel in Telangana's Ranga Reddy district took an unexpected turn when a frustrated thief, finding nothing to steal, left Rs 20 on the counter for the owners before leaving. The incident, captured on CCTV at a Maheshwaram eatery, has since gone viral on social media, drawing attention for its comical twist.

In the footage, the masked robber, armed with a stick, is seen breaking into the establishment and searching for valuables. After a few minutes of rummaging through the hotel, he appears visibly disappointed by the lack of anything worth stealing. In a moment of frustration, the thief looks directly into the camera, gesturing at the hotel's poor financial state, before placing the money on the counter.
