1. California Wildfire (7 to 31 January 2025)

In Southern California, 14 massive wildfires burned more than 16,000 homes and killed 31 people officially at the preliminary level. Dry weather and strong winds made the fire worse, resulting in significant losses for nearby infrastructure and individuals.
2. Myanmar Earthquake (28 March 2025)
A 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on 28 March 2025 that killing almost 3,600 people, and numerous structures fell, and nearby areas in China and Thailand were also impacted.
3. European Heatwave (April–September 2025)
Europe faced extreme heatwaves that lasted for months. Over 16,000 people died as a result of persistently high temperatures, which also put a strain on southern and western European health systems.

Cyclone Senyar hit various coastal nations such as Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra and Indonesia. Over 2,100 people were killed when. Thousands of homes and farms were devastated by severe winds and widespread flooding.
10. Cyclone Ditwah (26 November – 4 December 2025)
Cyclone Ditwah killed 647 people in southern India and Sri Lanka due to wind, flooding, and severe rainfall. Millions of people were impacted, and thousands of homes were destroyed.
